COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

You must be wearing a clean mask upon entering the hospital or any Scarborough Health Network Facility. If you require a clean mask, staff at the screening desk can provide you with one.

Entrance to the hospital is by way of the Emergency Main Entrance which is located on the West side of the building. You will be screened by staff upon arrival. Once you have passed the screening process you are to proceed to office 209 in the Medical Mall. Elevators are located near the Tim Horton’s Cafe.  

Please do not show up earlier than five minutes before your appointment. Only three patients are allowed in the office at any time. Arrival five minutes prior to your scheduled time is perfect. Give yourself adequate time so as not to be late and miss your appointment. 

Please feel free to ask for a pair of sterile gloves or hand sanitizer if either/both will make you feel more comfortable.

All Clipboards, pens and forms are completely sterilized before we ask you to provide any information. 

Currently, everyone who is coming into the hospital for a procedure MUST get a Covid-19 test 4 days prior to the date of the procedure.  Scarborough General Hospital works very closely with the testing centre of UTSC which is located at : 1265 Military Trail

There is no wait for Dr. Saul's patients if you show up to the testing centre between 9am -11am, Monday through Friday. Without the test, the hospital will refuse your procedure.

Even if you have been fully vaccinated you can still be a carrier of Covid-19. Getting tested is for the safety of all staff and all patients in the hospital.
